10,000 Subscribers!

Wow, 10,000 subscribes to my blog as of today!

It was more than 7 years ago when I started this journey of blogging, specifically to capturing all the learning in my life, a life of reading, experimenting, traveling, fixing things, and sharing/teaching. “Live to the old age and learn to the old age,” as the Chinese adage goes. If any of my learning benefits just one other person, I feel that I have lived, contributed and served my purpose. And the more I share the more I learn – the cycle feeds on itself.

As of today, Learnbyblogging.com has almost 500 posts. Despite the common wisdom of keeping a uniform theme, the posts cover diverse topics from book reviews, movie reviews, gardening, DIY (Do It Yourself) repairs, travels, and tips of all kinds. Our subscribers span across the globe and seem to be growing exponentially, thanks to the Internet.

During the last 7 years, my wife and daughter often asked me if there’s anyone reading my blog. Why did I bother blogging! I told them that it didn’t matter; I was doing it for myself. The truth is that it matters a lot to motivate me so that I keep on producing and improving the contents to help the most people in the most effective and concise ways – I strive to the curator of my learning and experience, rather than just a collector.

Thanks for subscribing to learnbyblogging.com and being part of my journey. It makes a world of difference to me. I’m still bullish on this wonderful miracle called life that I’ve been given. I hope you feel the same way and will enjoy the ride with me.
